Founded in 1986, Global Adventurer Formally known as ( “The Camping Shop") is a family run independent retailer of Outdoor Clothing and Equipment.  Global Adventurer is not an Internet Shop, more a shop that’s on the Internet. We are based in the Village of Forest Row, East Sussex just a short distance from the historic Ashdown Forest (0.5) miles and a 30 minute drive to the equally impressive South Downs National Park. 

Our family have been trading in Forest Row for 115 years and Global Adventurer was set up in 1986 in response to Ramblers, Hikers and Campers needing Maps, Gas, Walking Boots and Clothing. .

We pride ourselves in offering personal service to our customers. We offer good practical and unbiased advice for all your outdoor equipment needs.
